Most art is hung too small. Now you can see it before it ships.

The rule of thumb: art should span about two-thirds of the furniture below it, centred at eye height (57 in / 145 cm). Below is the same wall twice - a 24×36 cm print, then a 118×92 cm painting. Nothing else in the room changed. Murello renders every piece at its real size on your wall, so the mistake never reaches your door.

Rendered, not photoshopped

Every image below was produced by Murello's render engine: true scale, a procedural frame, the wall's own light and a real shadow. No AI repainting the artwork - ever.

Questions people ask

How high should I hang a picture?

Centre the piece at about 57 in (145 cm) from the floor - average eye height. Above a sofa, leave 15–25 cm between the sofa back and the bottom of the frame so they read as one group.

What size art should go above a sofa?

Roughly two-thirds of the sofa's width. Above a 200 cm sofa, aim for 120–140 cm of art - one large piece or a group that spans that width.

Does my photo leave my phone?

No. Rendering runs on your device. Nothing leaves it at all - there is no upload in the code, which you can check in your browser's network tab.

How is the size accurate?

Every listing carries its real dimensions, and we calibrate your wall from one measurement - the wall width, a standard door, or a sheet of A4/letter paper in the photo. Pieces without verified dimensions are never shown at true scale.

Where does the art come from?

Prints and framed art from Amazon and Etsy, and original paintings from Catawiki's live auctions. We link you to the listing; we don't sell anything ourselves.

When can I use it?

Now. The web demo is live at try.murello.app - free, in your browser, no account. The iOS app comes after it.
